One would have to visit the state of California to see the world's tallest tree. The tree is located in the world famous Sequoia Redwood Park. Sequoia redwoods can grow to be about 76 meters in height and can live to over 3000 years.The population was decimated in the 1800s as they were extensively logged. They are currently an endangered species and are a protected in the Sequoia National Forest.
